Photos of Concrete Levelling

Concrete Levelling Photos

Here’s a collection of various stages of concrete levelling being performed on concrete steps, concrete entrances and even some patio work.

As you can see by the before and after photos, once the concrete has been lifted there is a nice level surface with the danger of tripping or water getting trapped completely removed. In the patio images you can see once the concrete has been levelled that the issue of water (and ice) building up is completely removed.

The entire process of levelling the uneven concrete can usually be completed within two or three hours and driveways would be ready for vehicles within 30-60 minutes of completion, while sidewalks should be good to go before we’ve even packed up our trailers!

Concrete Levelling Work Starts In The Spring

Poly Boss does require the ground to be thawed before we can start any concrete levelling jobs which means we start to get busy by mid-spring here in Alberta. With the ground thawed we can be sure the foam sets properly and the underlying surface won’t be shifting due to heaving so even though we can’t be out levelling concrete at the beginning of spring, we can start coming out to do quotes as soon as the snow leaves.

If you’re interested in finding out the cost to level your sinking or uneven concrete we’d recommend you contact us as soon as possible so we can fit you in the current season. Alberta’s summers tend to be fleeting, so the sooner you can remedy your problem concrete, the sooner you can start enjoying it!

Mud jacking is heavy

Mud Jacking – The Two Biggest Issues

Before I talk about mud jacking, I have to remind you we do poly foam jacking, so we have a bias. But we have that bias for a reason, we definitely, positively, absolutely believe that using foam is a better solution than mud jacking, and here’s the two biggest reasons why! Mud Jacking Issue One […]

mudjacking versus foamjacking -

Foamjacking VS Mudjacking

Why Foamjacking VS Mudjacking? We often have people ask if we do mudjacking and we have to explain that we use a similar service called foam jacking. While there are many differences between using foam (a specialized formula of polyurethane foam to be specific) and using mud (more like a slurry of concrete, gravel and […]
