Benefits to Raising Concrete with Polyurethane Foam

How you can save your sinking concrete slab and WHY…

Cost Effective:  Raising concrete is typically about half the cost of replacing the same concrete. Ultimately, the cost of raising concrete or stabilizing concrete is a direct reflection of how much leveling material the project will require.

Time:  Ready to use immediately! Complete tear out, removal, re-forming and pouring the slab would take several days.  If it’s a driveway you are replacing, you cannot drive on it for 28 days because it needs time to cure.

Clean Work Environment: No concrete or grout splatter and no wash down needed.

Small Holes: Raising concrete with polyurethane requires the use of small 5/8 inch hole and the process calls for considerably fewer holes than traditional mudjacking, therefore,  minimal patchwork is needed.

Lightweight: This material will never lose density, is permanent, and weighs only about 4 lbs per cubic foot, compared to traditional mudjacking material which weighs, on average, 100 lbs per cubic foot.

Green: The poly foams we use are environmentally friendly, consisting of 39-49% renewable and recycled materials. HMI poly foam is a top-of-the-line material, designed specifically for different concrete applications; it allows us to easily adjust our approach to meet your needs.

Mud Jacking – The Two Biggest Issues

Before I talk about mud jacking, I have to remind you we do poly foam jacking, so we have a bias. But we have that bias for a reason, we definitely, positively, absolutely believe that using foam is a better solution than mud jacking, and here’s the two biggest reasons why! Mud Jacking Issue One […]

mudjacking versus foamjacking -

Foamjacking VS Mudjacking

Why Foamjacking VS Mudjacking? We often have people ask if we do mudjacking and we have to explain that we use a similar service called foam jacking. While there are many differences between using foam (a specialized formula of polyurethane foam to be specific) and using mud (more like a slurry of concrete, gravel and […]
